FOR I KNOW WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED ( 2 Tim.1:12)
Dear friends and visitors to this blog,
I want everyone who comes to this site to know that I have a burden for those who are in pain, feeling troubled and who come looking for a message from God. I never cease praying for those who have asked for prayer. I take all of your prayer requests very seriously and they stay on my heart. And God cares for each of you through your pain. He is not going to leave you in your struggle.
Remember that no matter what you are going through, God will always be bigger and he cares! He has a way out and above every single situation that you go through. To those who have put their trust in the finished work of Christ at the cross, your future is sealed and the enemy cannot steal it away. Don’t let any of the devil’s lies and frustrations make you doubt God’s perfect plan for your life. If you could see with spiritual eyes, you would know that if God is allowing a trial in the life of a believer, he has a plan to not only take you through it but to make you better for having gone through it.
Most importantly, I want you to remember that no situation is impossible for the true God who spoke the worlds into existence! Never let anyone tell you that you circumstance is beyond all help. That is a lie. There is nothing that God cannot and will not do for those who belong to him.
I care very deeply about all whom God sends to my site. You matter here! It was no coincidence that you stopped by for God has a message in one of these articles just for you. He is the one who has inspired these truths for me to write.
God bless you for now. Stay in peace and take your stand in the battle. Your God is very near and he is fighting for you!

I have read with tears of joy the encouragement and prayers that all of you have written. I am humbled by your love. I have returned with somewhat of a breakthrough in an area of my life. I can only pray that it means that God is going to use more of me for his kingdom.
Surrender has never been easy for me because for most of my life I thought that I had to be in control in order to keep from being hurt. I could not conceive of trusting anyone to love me unconditionally so I built a wall around myself. I went out of my way to help others but felt totally unworthy of anyone helping me. I was living in the lie of the enemy!
God has had to deal with me in trust areas. It has been painful to give up all that I had to get all that God had for me. He had to show me that he does love me just as I am. I have come to understand that for me to be effective for God’s kingdom, I had to surrender up my weakness for his strength. I had to realize that I could do nothing on my own without the power of Christ in me.
I am still a work in progress but each day I am growing more in love and in faith with Jesus! No matter what happens in my life, he is not going to fail me. And it is his immense love for me that compels me to write these messages in the hope that others will know the truth!
God bless you all! I am thankful to each of you!

“IT HAS BEEN PAINFUL TO GIVE UP ALL THAT I HAD TO GET ALL THAT GOD HAD FOR ME.” As soon as I read that one statement, I was taken back to the words of Jesus in Matthew 13; 45-46. “Again the Kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.”
Often times we discover the most precious of pearls within ourselves and the pearl is always a product of our pain. Marianne, indeed, you are a treasure. I am glad that you can see within yourself a glimmer of what others see in you; the hand of Jesus reaching out to others through you. John said concerning Jesus, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” It is from the lips of those once broken who have been mended that the name of Jesus is lifted; “AMAZING GRACE, HOW SWEET THE SOUND, THAT SAVED A WRETCH LIKE ME. I ONCE WAS LOST, BUT NOW I’M FOUND, WAS BLIND, BUT NOW I SEE.”

Thank you, Rev. York, for always understanding me when I speak of my struggles and helping me to see how God uses them. I believe you are right in saying that the pearl is always a product of our pain. At the end of my most painful moments I somehow knew that Jesus was there waiting for me. That comforts me and has helped me to stand and not give up when facing a battle. And as John the Baptist spoke of Jesus by saying “He must increase but I must decrease”, I understand so well that in all I do or say or write, Jesus – not I- must be the focus of it all!
God bless you, Rev. York, my friend and mentor.

Hi Marianne,
I just “happened” to visit your site at this particular moment and found words I needed to hear. I am going through a very painful and ongoing trial but at the same time I must say that I have been experiencing the comfort and mercy of the Lord. The Lord wants to be our all and that is where this trial is bringing me. Thank you for your care and concern for the Lord’s people. We rejoice in hope and one day we will lay aside these earthly garments and rejoice forevermore.
Blessings,
Cathy

Hi Cathy, So glad you happened by here and were uplifted. I know that is what God intended when he gave me his words. I am at your site every week checking out your great messages.
I am sorry that you experiencing a painful trial and I will pray for you but I guess if you are doing God’s work, the enemy is going to try to frustrate you. Blessed are we who know that all of our struggles have no power to destroy or crush us but were allowed for God’s power to be revealed in our lives. Whatever you are going through, please know that I will be praying and I know that God is using it to bring you to higher ground!
Stay in peace, my friend! And bless you for your work for the kingdom!

I have been going through the most difficult period in my life and at some point felt that God has forsaken me. I have not been able to secure formal employment for the last two years and this year seems even more tough and as a result have done things which go contrary to God’s teaching in a bid to run away from my problems, but I am glad that I visited your website today and I now know that the problems am going through are not in vain, for God has a plan for me, a plan to deliver me. Thank you very much for your encouraging words. God bless

Hi Daniel, I am very glad that God brought you here for now I will be praying for you each night. I know that you have been going through a bad time, but God always has a way to take those who trust him to victory. Your struggles can be turned around and used for your good. God never will forsake you. His love for you is what keeps you alive right now. Whatever your trial is, I will be praying for you. The times we are in are trying for all of us. But our God is greater than the dark forces that try to destroy us. Remember that Jesus died to give us hope and a future. If you can stand in faith and trust in him, he will not fail you. I will be praying for you, Daniel, and I know that God hears us. I take him at his word! Please keep in mind that there is nothing that stop God’s perfect plan for your life. It is difficult for you now but that does not mean that God is not working to help you. I will be praying for you from here on. Don’t be discouraged for the enemy wants you to doubt God. Read through some of my messages. In each of them, God has given me a message of hope to share with you. They are also areas of my life that God has taken me through.
You are not alone, dear friend. I will be praying for you. Stop back and let me know how you are doing. I care about your situation. God bless you.

Sometimes when we watch as others go through the storm and never lose sight of the power of Christ, it helps us to stay focused also knowing that God is not going to fail any who belong to him. Would be great if God just stop my trial and put an end to my life. I’ve suffered so many heart breaking relationship failures that has never had a good meaningful future since I was young. Now I’m 40 I have enough of false hopes, temporal ease, nothing beats the permanent hole and insecurities that has stigmatize my life. I long to finish this disgusting life I ever experienced on earth. I do want to feel another momentary lies or comfort that means nothing. Please pray for me that my time on earth be up soon. Please I have no qualms about my past nor regrets I just long for God to take me home if He truly loves me. I don’t want anymore future even if it is colorful or beautiful. Please take my life away. In Jesus name I pray Amen.

Dear Art, first of all, please let me know if you are a male or female so I can personalize this for you. I have copied your comment here and put it on my “Prayer Request” page that you will find the link at the top of my blog. There are a lot of peopel all over the world who will be praying for you. You are not alone and you never will be. The enemy is filling your head with lies to make you think that your life has no meaning and that you should just die. Those lies are meant to destroy you. Jesus came to give you a future. I know it has not been going like you want it to but don’t ever give up. Jesus is with you even now in all that pain. He will help you but you must first trust him to do so. To give up your future is to say that your God is not able to bring you through all this. You are just in a depression right now and you are not thinking clearly. I want you to know that I will be praying for you night and day and I just hope you will just remain calm and let God bring you the truth. You are seeing only the clouds and distortion that the enemy from hell is giving you. Your life has worth. God has deemed you worthy of his love and grace. Don’t sell that to the devil! Jesus paid too deep a price for you to surrender it all to satan! My dear friend, I love you and I care. I want you to know that I am here for you. Please email me at: lordi.marianne7@gmail.com so we can talk privately. I will be praying and I want to talk to you about some things. Be strong, my friend. Help is on the way. God loves you too much to let you be destroyed.
