Growing up in Ohio, I heard the good news about salvation when I was 20 years old. Before that, I had been into religion and thought I knew it all. When I first heard the gospel, I rejected it as foolishness. After all, I knew that Jesus was the Savior and that he died for my sins. I felt that was enough. What I didn’t comprehend was that I had only a head knowledge. It would take two more years for me to understand that. One day, for some reason unknown to me at the time, I opened up the bible and began to read. As I continued to read, my eyes were unveiled and I longed to know more about having Jesus as my personal and real Savior-someone whom I believed on in my heart. A change came over me and I knew that all that I ever wanted was in Jesus Christ, not the religion that just offered traditions and rules made up by men. I was hooked.
Soon though, the troubles of the world came and I slid away. But that didn’t stop Christ who never left me. I somehow knew that he was with me in everything I did. When I was on a destructive path, his voice would call to me to come back. He said he wanted to give me true happiness not the things of the earth that I was seeking. But for years I wouldn’t listen. True to his promise, Jesus never gave up on me even when I gave up on him. Many years later, I sought him out again and he took me back. I wasted a lot of years, but he gave me the assurance that he could still use me for his kingdom. His love never failed.
For the last few years, God has given me his words to write and I continue to do so. My past is still my past for I am a sinner saved by grace. All I can do now is to reach forward for what lies ahead and fight the good fight by the strength of Christ who lives in me.
I don’t know where God is going to take me, I just know now that I want to be led by his nail pierced hands and to do the work for which he planned for me long before the foundation of the earth. I now willingly and humbly tell him, “Here am I, Lord, use me!”
I am indeed blessed and I pray that all will be blessed by the messages that Christ gives me to write.
One point that I make in all of my articles is this: God has a perfect plan for your life and it cannot fail or be taken from you. All you need do is trust your life to Jesus Christ who died to give you eternal life. His love will do the rest.

Hi Robin,
Thanks for stopping by. I will be visiting your site as it is great to hear how God uses his people.
Isn’t it awesome that we all have a story of how God brought us to the saving message of salvation through Jesus? I am especially glad that he was patient with me during those times when I thought I knew everything. I was deceived and on my way to hell. But his grace found me and brought me to him. Praise our Savior for his unfailing love!

Yes Marianne, our Lord has given you both His sweet Spirit which in turn has given you a clear understanding of His word which He has impressed upon you to write. I enjoy reading your blog and have taken the liberty of listing mlordi.wordpress on my blogroll so malachi readers might experience the same encouragement and exhortation.
We need to exhort the body of Christ to stand in this day of change and remain true to the word of exhortation that shall under gird us as we stand…. it is an unshakable foundation, even unto death.
God’s rich blessing upon your life and writings Marianne.

Dear Ruth, it was such a pleasure to talk with you today. Your eyes just revealed so much of what was in your heart. I had been praying for you for a while that you might have understanding of the love of God. When you visited today, I saw that my prayers were answered! I knew that Christ was living in your heart! It was just so clear to me. I thank God for putting us together as friends and I will continue to pray for you and your family. Walk in your faith now,Ruth. Don’t let the enemy’s lies fill your mind for you belong to Christ and he will not let you go. Every day just watch and see what Jesus will reveal to you. It is a process but you are on the way. I am so happy and proud of you. We who are in Christ are all a work in progress. Remember that I am always here for you! 🙂

I assume you are anti-Catholic?
“A change came over me and I knew that all that I ever wanted was in Jesus Christ, not the religion that just offered traditions and rules made up by men.”
I would like to start a conversation with you about the Catholic Church. As a Catholic I believe I have the fullness of Christ. Would you be interested in this discussion? Who knows, maybe you will convert me to the protestant beliefs or I will convert you to the fullness of truth in the Catholic Church!

Hi Albert, glad you stopped by. I want you to know, I am not against Catholics. I am for the truth! I am so glad that you have the fullness of Christ because if you have been saved by grace through faith in Christ alone, then I am so happy to hear that. I don’t know what conversation you would like to have but you can email me at : commish07@zoominternet.net
I don’t care what your “religion” is. Christ didn’t care and neither do I. It only matters if you know Christ in a personal way. There will be many who believe they are saved by works in Christ name for whom Jesus will say, “Be gone, I never knew you” . I had 12 years of Catholic education and more. I thought I loved Jesus. But I was one of those who knew Jesus in my intellect but not in my heart. Just like the ones who are doing works for Christ now but who will not be with him in heaven. I hope that is not you.
By the way, I cannot convert you to anything. Only the Holy Spirit can open a person’s heart to the truth. I do not have that power and neither do you. Jesus said in John 6:44, “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day.” We are never saved by our own power nor by our works. It is only by the power of God that our eyes can see.
As far as you converting me, I now know the truth which has set me free. I can never nor will I EVER go back to a lie!
God bless you, Albert!

Oh my! You are too kind. Like you (probably), it’s an amatuer hobby/ministry. I just started this blogging thing about a year ago out of a bizarre complusion to write about my Savior and His Word (I bet you get that -:) in hopes that one, just one, person would see the beauty of Jesus in my writing. Anyway, as I read your thoughts there is a depth and beauty that reflect a genuine love for Jesus and desire to magnify His name. If we both do that, by God’s grace, then we will close our days like Paul when He said:
“For I am already being poured out as a drink offering, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved his appearing.”
Keep treasuring Him and sharing the joy that only He gives! I look forward to tagging along in your journey with Him!

Hi
I really hope you note my letter to you. I’m Tido, a young girl from South Africa, I had a terrible upringing at home living with my father. I finally started working when I was fourteen to support myself and my mother with my younger siblings. This were very very tough but I managed to finish my high school while working. Despite of my awful child hood, I decided to go out and help other kids who have difficult problems at home, the little that I get – I share with them. I have tried everything to make extra money so that I can provide more for the abondoned kids and my family, but nothing has worked. I’m really drained, I have lost hope, I feel like God doesn’t know I exist because He wouldn’t let me suffer so much – even when I’m trying to help other people aswell. I really don’t know what to do anymore, Will things ever get better for me?? Over all this years I’ve maintained a close relationship with God because I had nowhere else to go – I have fasted and prayed countless times but I feel like my life is too painfull. I really don’t know what to do anymore. I’ve considered suicide but I can’t because no one will look after the kids. Please help me – WILL THINGS EVER GET BETTER FOR ME?? WHAT DO I DO NOW, I’M ONLY 21. ALL MY FRIENDS GRADUATED FROM VARSITY BUT I’m still struggling, I’m not even in school. How do I survive when I feel like God is NOT looking out for me??

Hi Tido, I understand what you are going through and my heart and prayers are with you. I know that you are growing weary but you must hang on and keep believing. Right now, the enemy of this world wants you to give up! You may think that no one sees what you are doing to help others but believe me, Tido, God has his eyes on you! You will be blessed if you do not stop. Anyone who does work for God will suffer these same feelings of being alone and abandoned. You are not! You would not be so attacked if you were not doing a mighty work for God!
I have a great burden for Africa. I sponsor 4 children there. I know the struggles that take place in many places in Africa. I sometimes feel like it is too overwhelming and how can I make a difference but then I realize that I can do all that Christ enables me to do. He is the source of my strength. I have no power of my own. It is the same for you, Tido. If you have Christ living in your heart, it is by his strength and his power that you will be able to touch others with his love. Never, never, never give a thought to suiicide! My sister, you will be doing the enemy’s work if you do. Please keep the faith and be strong. God will not leave you to face your burdens alone! He will provide a way but you must wait on him. We all must wait upon him. The waiting is a time of stretching our faith. Don’t look for things to be done your way. God’s ways are so much higher. He already knows what the future holds so he knows how and when to give you what you need. You already learned as I did that there is nowhere else that I can take my problems to. Only Christ has the answer and the power to handle all that I give to him. To say that God is not looking out for you is a lie from hell, my sister. If he did not have you before him this very second you would be dead. It is he who holds your heart and allows it to beat. It is God who gives breath to your lungs. I know you are just tired and you don’t really believe that God doesn’t care.

Please pray for my friend. She lives in Kenya but is from Eritrea. She is facing a tough custody battle for her three year old son. Her son’s father came into her life as a friend who promised to help her get her two daughters, from an earlier marriage, out of Eritrea. During a meeting at his house he raped her. She wanted to press charges but her community begged her not to do so. She found it in her heart to forgive him and she even moved in with him so that they could raise their son in a stable home.
While living with him she underwent a lot of emotional and physical abuse and at some point she was locked in their house and was not allowed to leave. She wasn’t allowed to pray and the man threw her bible and put up a statue of a pagan god and declared it the god of their home. One day when she got sick a friend was able to take her for treatment but when she tried going back home her son’s father banished her from their home. Her son was one and a half years at that time. She went to court and was able to get custody of her son for a while but her husband has now bribed the judge and today she has no access to her child. He also bribed a children’s officer to give a bad report about her to the court and the court has now denied her access to her child.
To make matters even worse he has used police to threaten her so that she can leave the country. She is now facing criminal charges from a police officer who has been bribed her son’s father to incriminate her. Her world is slowly crumbling around her and despite being a prayerful christian she continues to suffer immensely under the hands of a corrupt government and a man who is bent on destroying her life. She needs special prayers because she has suffered so much and she needs strength in this time of persecution. She is here in Kenya undergoing all the torture and she has no one but just a few friends to support her.
She cries daily to God to help he and I’m Kindly asking everyone I can to pray for her.

Hi Rosemary, My heart is just breaking for your friend! I will definitely be praying for her and for her son. She must continue to trust Christ for he will be her strength. I know that the power of the God we serve is more than these paid off judges and police. He will help her. Unfortunately, when she moved in with a man who was not her husband she opened the door for the enemy. But God knows how to turn even this situation for her good. I will be praying. Do you think it would help for me to write to her? Please tell her that I am here praying. And please let me know how she is doing. God bless you for being such a good friend.

I am soooo very happy to of had stumble unto your site is so inspiring… you see i will give you a little history about my self… i was given by mother at 2 years old (according to grandma ) father i didn’t meet till i was 11. mother i met till i was 32. finished school went to college but then became a drug addict for 21 years. only by the mercy of GOD iam here writting these words. 4 years and 8 months ago GOD set me free from such vicious addiction (cocaine) since childhood i had always gone to churches … Grandma a hard core pentecostal that yes, church less then 4 times a week was not an option. did this till at 12 years old went to live with father and was transformed into a catholic. 6 years. purpose for this email is to thank GOD for having created such passionate children as you and many others. iam also very pasionate about the word of GOD. you see i have not been a member of a church for 3 and half years now. the last church i attended (once GOD had release me from my bondage) was one of Herbert Armstrong churches. did the sabbath for a whole year but one day nothing seemed right. just did not feel right and so i began my journey… i began to study the word of GOD through the guidance of THE HOLY SPIRIT. here are some scriptures you may want to consider Acts 17:24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. so where does GOD dwell…? GOD’S WORD® Translation (©1995)
They can’t say, ‘Here it is!’ or ‘There it is!’ You see, the kingdom of God is within you.” but how can we get to this kingdom of GOD ( by choice…?) nope… here is CHRISTS way… New Living Translation (©2007) Jesus told him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me…. but certainly coming to christ -IS by CHOICE- no….? nope! CHRISTS WORDS;
King James Bible JOHN 6:44
No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw (greek> drag) him: and I will raise him up at the last day. now these next scriptures should make more sense;
John 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit (AND) John 6:70 Then Jesus replied, “Have I not chosen you, the Twelve? Yet one of you is a devil!”(judas) these and many more trurhs i did not learn in the churches so is true when CHRIST tells us In JOHN 8:32 of Young’s Literal Translation
“and the truth shall make you free.” but what must happen first?
New Living Translation (©2007) JHON 16:13
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth. He will not speak on his own but will tell you what he has heard. He will tell you about the future. AND…2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH has to come first. …but how will we know when the spirit of trurh comes? John 14:17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, FOR HE LIVES WITH YOU and will be IN you. …as i said before please understand iam not at all being argumantive. I tell you here before GOD my heart is full of love… this morning your writtings helped me tremendously! because wife and i are in a disastrous finances situations (STORMS!!) i will not collaborate on it but suffice it to say, you truly help me say all i wanted to say the my wife but could not. your writtings are so very well written… O how i wish i could write as clear and as undersandable as you. I have prayed about it but i still have a hard time expressing my self vocal and written not to mention my spelling but hey GOD knows our hearts. i have faith GOD puts special set of eyes for my writtings as a sign of mercy toward me. peace

Hi waiting! I am so glad that God brought you to this site. You see, he gives me all that I write about. I always pray that it is his word and not mine. He has taken me through everything that I have written about so I know from his word and from experience that God is faithful. That is why I write with such passion. And most of all, I pray that God himself will bring those here whom he desires to receive these messages. You are one that he brought so welcome.
I believe that you were right on in what you said. We are not saved or justified by the church denomination that we belong to. All that matters is that we have a saving knowledge of Christ and believe that he paid the price for our sins. It means that we have surrendered our wills to his. It means that we are being transformed into his image. While we won’t be perfected until he comes for us, we still have the hope that he is completing the work that he started in us. To be a believer means that your heart of stone has been replaced by one of flesh that is open to hear Christ. It also means that not only do you have a new relationship with Christ, it means that you also have a new relationship with sin -that you hate the evil that of your corrupt flesh that is opposed to God’s will. You don’t sin as you did before you were saved.
With all that said, I want you to know that I will be praying for you and your wife and for your financial situation. I take seriously my burden to pray for those God has brought here. I know God’s power and that nothing is impossible for him. I will be lifting you up each night for God to provide all that you need.
I also think you should not dismiss your desire to write. All you need is a willingness to hear from God and to speak what is in your heart as you just did. Spell check can help you with spelling. Nothing else matters if Christ is working in you. Share your thoughts. Start a blog yourself. Start small and pray about it. You never know who you can reach with the love of Christ that is in you.
God bless you, dear friend. I am here for you anytime so please stop back. And I am with you in this battle praying for the strength of God to fill you and to bless your family, home and finances. Be in peace, dear brother!

Hello Marianne, Grace and peace to you from God our father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I learned something very important this year when I became a christian, Jesus Christ died for my sins, One of the reasons he did this was to rescue me from the depths of Hell so that we could realize that the mercy of God took effect on our lives. We all deserve to be in hell but because of him, We are saved, and we will not taste the pain of 2nd death aslong as we walk in faith with him
I do have a question on tithe’s I just wanted to get the facts straight that Jesus did approve of the 10% tithing. He mentioned that he ordered his disciples to pay the taxes in the church. he also mentioned in one of his gospels that the pharisees should do the latter without neglecting the former. Am I right with this?
Thankyou. More power to your blog, Grace and Peace to you.

Hi Dino, You learned well. So glad to have you for a brother in Christ! Aren’t we blessed that he revealed himself to us and gave us the understanding of truth? I will never understand his perfect love for a sinner like me.
Tithing is something that has been debated for years. I realize that in the Old Testament, God called for tithing so that the Levitical priests whom he appointed would be taken care of. But I also believe that tithing is a heart issue. When you tithe, you are acknowledging the fact that everything good you have is by the hand of God! I believe that Christ did use that Scripture concerning the Pharisees as a teaching that we are to continue to tithe. God does not need our money, BUT, our giving honors him and he uses our tithing to bless us! Since I got that concept, God has not stopped blessing me in ways I could never have imagined. While I am not legalistic about it, I believe that Scripture shows time and time again that we are to tithe and give back to God. Jesus took the time to watch the giving at the temple. He watched the poor woman give an offering of all that she had. I believe he watches us too the same way, Tithing should not be given grudginly or under compuslion. It should be give freely and willingly. The very breath we have in our lungs is from God! My giving is a way to give honor and praise to him. All that we do should be for that reason. It is all about the kingdom of God. Dino, I have read articles on both sides of tithing and I believe in my heart that tithing is very biblical. All that we have is on loan by God. In thanks for all he does, I give my tithe and offerings to help spread the Good News!
I can see the power of Christ working in you, Dino. One thing I have learned in a very personal way and that is that you can never outgive God! Believe me, I have tried. I would never want to withhold anything from the God who gave me so much. Remember also that you should give of your time also. Never let anything interrupt your time with Christ. That is where you get your strength and knowledge. God bless you , my brother. Please stop back anytime or email me with any questions. We can reason together! I will be praying for you.

My dear friend, Tri, I am so blessed that God brought you to my site and me to yours. You say that you are not where I am with Christ but do you know where I am? People think that I don’t struggle with issues in my life but I face battles every single day. Some I fail at miserably. Tri, we are both a work in progress. I am not the pinnacle of success where anyone should be. I have a LONNNNG way to go. If you knew my life, you would probably say why would God use her? But he does. And the only reason he does is that I keep getting up and going on, willing to be used.
I know you have some sturggles, but my dear sister, so do I. I still know that you have a heart to pray for others. If you are in Christ, his Spirit is workng in you to intercede for others. Remember God uses the broken things of this world to do his work. Don’t let the enemy make you feel like you are not ready. Listen to me Tri, it is by Christ’ power that I pray and intercede for others –not mine. He isn’t looking for you to get perfect first. You never will be. He is looking only for willing vessels who want to do his work. I KNOW you are willing. Just do it! Put up our prayer page. I will help you. And if you wish, I will come along side you and pray with you for those who come to you asking for prayer. Do it, Tri. Remember that King David murdered and committed adultery and deception. God was still able to use him because David was still willing to be used by God!
I am praying for you. I am excited to see how God is going to use yo.

Hello Marriane, I have a question.
This is what I know about salvation. That we are saved by Grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Not by works so that no one could boast. I read the Gospel of James saying that Faith without Deeds is dead. What is the difference between work and deed? Sometimes I do my best to do good to others because knowing that faith without deeds is dead. But when I do good am I working for my salvation even if Paul said that works would not count so that no one could boast? Im sorry if my question is quite confusing but I just want to be enlightened on this.

Hi Dino, you have a good question. We are saved by faith alone through grace alone by Christ alone! The Apostle Paul told us that to add anything to the cross would be to empty the corss of its power. We can do nothing to earn salvation or to help our salvation. It is a free gift. Now with that said, IF you are truly saved, there will be a change in your because the Spirit of God comes and lives in you. He then works in your to do good things. Therefore, good works are an outward sign of an inward change. In other words, works have no power to save you or to give you more favor with God. BUT if you claim to be saved and you do no works, then are you really saved?? No! If you are no different than when you said you were saved, then you aren’t saved. When you have Christ’ spirit in you, he is doing his work through you. It is not of you so you cannot boast in yourself! That is the differnce. I hope you understand it. You can do good works and not be saved but you cannot be saved and not do works! The reason is that when you are saved, you are radically changed. You desire to do good. You don’t sin as you used to because you now have a desire to please God.
Dino, please email me if you have any further questions. I will be more than happy to answer what I can,. The fact that you are questioning things is sign to me that the Holy Spirit is moving in you. I am here for you if you need to know anything else. God bless you, dear brother!

Hi Patrice, I am so glad that God brought you here. I will keep you in my prayers. I trust that God not only hears my prayers but that he burdens my heart to pray for those he sends to my site. Whatever you are going through, dear friend, God has plans to use it all for your good. You must trust him in the hard times because it is there that he shows you his power and brings you closer to the understanding of his love. You are NEVER forgotten. It is the enemy who wants you to think you are. Your struggles are allowed for a purpose to give you strength and to increase your faith.. They are never meant to destroy nor do they have power to do so. Keep your eyes on Christ. He is not going to fail 6you even when your sitution seems impossible. Everything I write about was those things which he brought me through. And never think you are alone in your pain. God iwll always burden hearts to come along side you and join you in your battle – whhich by the way – he has already won for you.
I am here, my sister, and I will be praying for you every night. Your message just gave me inspiration for my next article which I will write with you in mind. Stay strong knowing that God is the authority and power over all that touches your life. Stop back or email me when you want to talk.

Hi again Marianne, lovely to receive your feedback, thanks for that. As your site has so much there it is good to keep reading a bit more each day. I have the same heart as you in that due to things I’ve been through in life with my health it has given me that same burden to want to help others and share God with them…I just seek Him daily as to where He leads in this area. All the writings you have there I can identify with totally and finding it yesterday was a real answer to prayer as I was seeking to find something for a family struggling with a sick person at the moment. Have sent your site to them and would also value your prayers that their hearts will be receptive.
All the best and take care, blessings,

Hi Jim, I am so glad you stopped. My wisdom comes only from God. I always pray that he speaks through me. I always think back on the book of Job. When God showed up to Job, he was angry with Job’s friends. He said, “Who is this who darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?” God was ready to take down Job’s friends for what they were saying to him. I always pray that I NEVER darken God’s counsel with words without knowledge! I thank you, Jim, for your kind words and encouragment. I hope you will stop back. Have been going through a rough time in my life and was frustrated by the fact that I couldn’t seem to “connect” with god or establish a relationship with him. Then I randomly stumbled across your site and it seemed as if much of it was directed at me personaly. You thoughts have touched me and I can see that God is there and communicating to me in a way that I’ll understand. It fills me with hope to see how god uses your words to encourage others. I’ll continue to visit and learn

Marianne, your simple testimony is about identical to mine. God bless you and those on this site. I read some of your prayers. In one prayer you covered a lot of different situations people are going through. I also pray for all different kinds of situations. I keep up on world news and hear of all the murder and mayhem going on out there. The wars, brutality, financial collapses, bad weather and other disasters. I pray for all the suffering, including the people who we normally call our enemies. They have children and wives and parents who suffer also. I pray God give them grace to survive their suffering. I pray that he comes soon and finds me/us ready.

Hello Marianne:
I don’t know who you are but I just read your testimony and I appreciated it. Yes, the past is the past and we are new creatures Christ. I was fasting and praying for Leesha Phillips, pastor Matt’s wife who has colon and liver cancer. She has a CaringBridge site which I write comments on for time to time to give her encouragement. Rob Bohning picked up on one of my comments and enlisted me to pray for him. So I have been linked to Rob and commenting on his CaringBridge site as well. I have never met Rob but he told me he goes to Calvary Chapel, Modesto, where I attend church as well.
I believe in pray. I believe in fasting. So I have been praying and fasting now for both Leesha and Rob. I feel it is my sacred duty to do so. I must write to Rob since he is going for surgery very soon. I Believe in healing and miracles. I just bought some healing oil at the Christian book store and am awaiting word from Pastor Matt if it would be Alright for me to come over and pray for Leesha. I want to do the same for Rob. i am trusting the Lord for a miracle in both these saints lives. They are far too young and have too many people dependent on them to go be withe Lord at this time. I am praying that God would heal them and give them many more years of productive ministry. I have selfish interests in mind as well but I am open to a miracle of healing from the Lord.
Just to let you know, I appreciate the way you write. You write with passion and knowledge and insight. God has used your past to make you who you are in the present. It appears God is doing a good work in your life and you have a ministry of writing that touching many. Keep up the good work for the Lord.
It is wonderful, this life in the Kingdom of God. I love every minute of it. I am getting ready to step out on faith and trust the Lord with the rest of my life. It is exciting to think what He will do with me. I am a doorkeeper in the house of the Lord and better is one day in His courts that thousands else where. I gave my life to the Lord so many years ago (1964) but like you I spent many years not serving Him. When I entered the Air Force in 1974, I started seeking the Lord and reading His Word. God was at work in my life and started changing it. After the AF, i went home to California, got married and had two kids. I grew real content and complacent not doing much for the Lord while I was married. We homeschooled the kids all the way through High School. Then my wife got sick and died in 2006. I never forget how the Church of Jesus Christ came to my rescue. The people of God shared the Love of the Lord in ways that radically altered my life. I realized that I had to give back to the Lord in some way shape for form. I started attending a home fellowship group and became a greeter at Calvary Chapel. I now teach at the School of the Bible and preach so often at the Modesto Gospel mission. But there is more the Lord has in mind for me. He is not done with me yet and I am excited to surrender my life to Him.
It is the fourth quarter and we are making our goal line stance for Leesha and Rob. While the circumstances seem dire, the game is still on and We have resources the enemy knows nothing about. God specializes in impossible situations. There is nothing too hard for Him. So I take my stand with Rob and Leesha. We are in this thing together. We are family.

Hi Greg,
I am so glad you stopped by. I am always happy to meet a brother in Christ. You also have been through a lot in your life. It is just so touching to know that you are fasting and praying for Rob and Lessha. I thank God for beleivers like you who trust that he hears and answers our prayers. We have hope, Greg, because Christ lives to intercede for us. He has a plan and a purpose and our trials have no power to stop the future that he died to give us! I am in a pretty big struggle myself and it is wearing on me. Yet I have hope because Christ did not take me this far only to abandon me now. I will continue my prison ministries and writing of his truth. Until the day God takes me home, I want to found working for his kingdom and for his purpose. What else is going to last?
I love your testimony, Greg. I hope you will stop back and visit. I could use some of your wisdom. I will pray also for your Pastor’s wife, Leesha. I know that God has a perfect plan for Rob and for Lessha. I am praying that in his mercy and for his glory that they both will be restored to wholeness and put back in the ranks of God’s army. We have big battles raging on this earth. We need all of God’s people to come together and fight the good fight. We already know we have the victory. It is so dark here now. How I pray for Christ to return for us soon.
God bless you, dear brother. Please email me if you ever want to talk.

let’s pray for Pastor Yucef Nardarkhani. He is a Christian, in Iran, who has refused to acknowledge Mohammed as God’s messenger. He faces the death sentence. Let’s pray that he be released.

Marianne, thanks. I’m glad you are open to that sort of stuff. I felt it may be in the political realm because of all that’s going down with Iran right now. I’ve seen pictures of the brother and his wife. That really brings it home. I heard about him on ACLJ.ORG. They’re lawyers on the radio that fight for Christian rights of speech and other rights. Jay Sekulo is his name. ACLJ stands for American Center for Law and Justice. If you go to their web site there is, on the top of the home page, a petition you can sign to help this brother out.
Thanks

It is the Spirit of God working in you. When you finish school, I believe that God will open doors for you to do his work to a greater degree. Keep praying and trusting. Read your bible every day and let the truth fill you and guard your heart and mind. Soon we will pay a price for our faith. We all must have the kind of faith that is willing to stand for what is right. I am praying for you, dear sister. God has big plans for your life!

Monelisa – South Africa
Hi this is a beautiful site here. I just need advise from my brothers and sisters in Christ.
After high school – I didn’t manage to finish varsity unlike my other cousins, becuase I didn’t have a very strong support system at home. But even after I dropped out – I didn’t give up – I went out there and got a job and started my own little business. It is a great business concept and has been approved by everyone I’ve told….., but somehow strangely things have not been working out for the past two years…no matter how much marketing I do and research – it just doesn’t workout. Everyone around me is puzzled – my only explanation is maybe God is still training me spiritualy before my business starts bringing an income. Well it’s been a tough training as I am the only bread winner in my family – things have been tough – I got black listed for owing an amount I couldn’t pay.
I’ve cried so many nights, people around me make fun of me saying, ” Who do you think you are to run a business you uneducated person”!! – But deep inside I know that God has been EDUCATING and teaching me a lot about business management and marketing even though I do not have a Degree Or Diploma to show for it.
All my cousins have jobs and living well and honestly I am starting to panick thinking maybe IT WON’T WORKOUT FOR ME SINCE I DIDN’T GO TO SCHOOL – I’M A USELESS UNEDUCATED WOMAN really struggling to make ends meet for the family.
Actualy a friend of mine not so long ago suggested I SHOULD JUST FIND MYSELF A RICH MAN AND MARRY HIM, that’s the only way I’l be able to manage my finances – but somewhere deep inside me I have this unfading hope that God is not limited by the systems of this world “Education” He himself is able to teach me the secrets about making and income and running a business.
Things look bad – I’m fasting and praying just so I don’t lose my focus and despite what everyone says I KNOW MY REDEEMER LIVES AND HE CAN MOVE MOUNTAINS. I’M SO WEAK RYT NOW AND I AM CLOSE TO LOSING HOPE BUT I BELEIVE I WILL SEE HIS POWER.

Hi Monelisa, I put your comment on the prayer request page so others will see and pray for you also. Please click on the Prayer Request at the top of my blog and see that others are praying for you. Do not lose hope. Jesus promised to give you all that you need. Stay strong. You never need to marry a man to have financial stability. That will never work. You need to trust Christ alone! He will provide for all that you need and give you a future with hope. Don’t sell yourself short, dear sister! You are not a useless, uneducated woman. You are a woman of worth and beauty. The enemy is trying to discourage you and make you give up. Jesus has the way to give you victory. Surrender it all to him and watch him work out the details of your life.
God led you to my site for a reason, my friend. I will be praying for you. You are not alone. Please let me know how you are doing. You can email me anytime you want to talk privately. I am here for you.

Hi Celeste, I am so glad that God brought you to my site. I always pray for those who come here for I believe that he has a reason for wanting them to see the messages that he gives to me. We all experience hardships and struggles, my sister. Christ has his eyes on those who belong to him and he is causing them all to be used for good and for his glory. It will be all be with it when he comes for us and brings us to rule with him forever in heaven. Until then, we are ambassadors for Christ and his kingdom. It is so good that you and another woman are going to start a bible study. The amazing thing about that is that when you go to teach God’s word, he opens your mind to know things that only he could have revealed to you. He rewards you for seeking him and teaching others. Good for you. Stop back and let me know how you do. I will be praying for you.

this morning i just googled ‘God’s promises’ and i came accross your site. It is really amazing and inspiring to read and just be reminded. felt really sad and tired of everything and just to be reminded that everything happens for a reason and ‘your heart can not be broken beyond our Creator’s hand to heal and you can never fall too far that His grace cannot lift you’. thank you…sometimes all one needs is to be reminded that God is God and He will never leave nor forsake you

Hi Mickey, it is true that your heart cannot be broken beyond God’s ability to heal you. Your struggle is always before him. You cannot fail when you belong to Christ. I am glad that God gave you that reminder. You may be weary right now but your pain is before Christ and he has a plan to take you through it. I will be praying for you, my friend. You will be okay as long as you keep your eyes on Christ. Stay in his word. Let his truth fill you when you are feeling down. In the end, remember, God’s plan will stand the test!

I re-read your testimony Marianne and I can very much relate to much of it. I think this part is wonderful … “I wasted a lot of years, but he gave me the assurance that he could still use me for his kingdom. His love never failed.”
you’ve been restored and that is so much to rejoice over.
I surely wish I could get past the “wasted a lot of years” part …
Who knows? Perhaps some day.

Cry and Howl ( Is it Steve?) Getting past the wasted years and poor choices and the many mistakes we did in life is not something we can do ourselves. If we seek Christ and focus on his love and attributes, only then can we have the power to forgive ourselves and move on. If Christ told believers that he will remember their sin no more, what purpose and what right do I have in still letting them condemn me? Jesus paid the price! It is done! I am forgiven. I never say that I did not do much wrong but that I am a sinner saved by grace. When you feel you cannot let go of your past, my friend, it is because you are listening to the lies of the Accuser from hell who wants you to be buried by your mistakes. Remember in Scripture, TWO men betrayed Christ! One of them is in heaven and the other in a place of torment. Why is that? Judas betrayed Christ but he could not believe that God was powerful enough or loving enough to forgive him so he killed himself. He ended up with the great deceiver in hell. Peter betrayed Christ by denying him three times as he cursed and said he didn’t know Christ! When he realized the evil he had done, he wept bitterly and sought forgiveness. That is why he is in heaven. He believed that Christ was enough to forgive his sins. You must believe that all that you have done is under the blood of Christ when you have a personal relationship with Christ. It is a process, my friend. We all fall short. Each day, read your bible and let the truth sink in about the love and mercy of God. Let it be your armor when the enemy starts accusing you. The surrender it to Christ. Day by day, minute by minute, turn your struggle over to him. When the love of Christ fills your heart, you won’t have any room for the lies of the enemy!
God bless you, my friend. And thanks for the boldness to speak up on the truth without compromise! Your blog is a blessing.

I am at a point where i read about God’s promises and i understand it but to actually let go and live it is what i’m struggling with. i know He is at work even when it doesn’t seem like it. i know me holding on to it and trying to deal with it on my own means i dont trust Him to hand it over to the one that knows best. it is nice to know all these things but im struggling to live it. it’s difficult to let go when something has been going on for so long and you see no change. i just feel i get all of this is to build a mature character and in everything there is a lesson. and i should probably change my attitude and way of thinking cause it will help me deal with it, i want to but i’m struggling. it’s like i read His promises, and want to get to that point where i trust him and let go but there’s a gap in the middle cause i dont know how. rick warren wrote to trust God you need to get to know Him better. i know i sound confusing, just difficult to put what i feel into words 😦

Hi Mickey, to be one with Christ, you must surrender your ways to his. It is not an easy thing to do but if Christ is living in your heart, it is his power that enables you die to yourself in order to live for him. Tell me, my friend, do you spend time in God’s word? My eyes were opened to the truth of salvation just from reading the bible. When you seek out Christ through his word, he gives you wisdom and power and knowledge of who he is. You put on the armor of God so that when the devil tells you not to let go of things or to hold on and not surrender, you have the power of God through his word to take your stand against those lies! You must seek him out. He will direct your steps and help you to do what is right. When we are saved, the Holy Spirit comes into our hearts and he works through us to do good and to follow in his ways. It doesn’t mean that we don’t sin, it means that we don’t sin like we did before. We have been radically changed. God has taken our heart of stone and replaced it with a heart of flesh that is willing to hear and obey. You can’t trust God because you have never surrendered to him.
My friend, you can email me if you wish and we can talk this over. I want you to have an true understanding of faith and salvation. A lot of people say they are saved because they believe that Jesus is God and that he is the Savior. The demons in hell believe that also. What makes you different from them? That is the question all must ask when you examine yourself to see if you are in the faith. I can help you understand that. I am praying for you, Mickey. Don’t give up. You obviously care enough to want to know the truth. I am here for you, just email me. God bless you.

Hi,
As a persecuted Christian, I felt so overwhelmed today that I even thought about committing suicide. I think I was so very angry with the deceiver that I only wanted to leave this world. After reading your latest post I felt comforted and decided to continue the fight knowing that our Savior knows what he is doing with my life (Job-like trials). Thanks and God bless you. Please pray for me. Marie J. Montreal, Canada.

Hi Marie, I am so glad that God brought you here. I will be lifting you up in prayer. My sister I know that times are tough for all of us. We are living in the dark days of the end times. Jesus told us not to grow weary and give up. He promised that he would take care of us and give us a reward that will far outweigh anything we are going through. I know that job situations are bad, If you belong to Christ, he knows how to get you what you need. You have to keep trusting and not focus on the problems all around you. Anything he is allowing has a purpose to strengthen you and reveal more of God’s love to you. It doesn’t seem like that now but you will grow to realize that your faith is earning so much riches that you will one day see when you reach heaven.
I am here if you ever want to talk. Just email me – my address is on the main page. I care about your struggle, Marie. Most importantly, God does. And he is not going to let you be destroyed by your problems. You are not alone, my friend!

Hello Marie,
dear sister, I’m sorry to hear that you are struggling in persecution. I will certainly pray for you. I care very much when I hear that someone is so down as you are.
As our friend, Marianne, often reminds us, the Devil is a liar. And he is lying now to you. Don’t believe what you hear! Don’t believe what you see around you. Instead put your eyes on what’s above. God is real. He sustains us by his right hand. He never sleeps nor does he forget his children. Those who are your enemies are also enemies of the Almighty God. And God sees what is happening to you. He cares and will bring you through just as he has brought me out of many terrible situations. He delivers and saves. Remember the words of our savior, “Only believe!” . Sister, capture every thought and take it to Christ. Do not dwell or ponder on the lies that want you to be defeated. You are God’s child. He cares for his children.
Marie, I care for you as does our sister, Marianne.
I will pray for you. Keep in touch.

Marlene, I always pray that God will bring to this site those for whom he has given me a message to write. My friend, we have all fallen short in our relationship with God. We have all turned to our own ways and rebelled against the God who gave us life. Because Christ lives to intercede for us, we always have hope. Marlene, you do not have to beg God to have you back. He desires for you to be back with him. Whatever your weaknesses are, he will be your strength. You must simply surrender all to him, my sister. Let him guide you on the path that he has created you to be on. He knows your name and he sees where you are. You can never fall too far for the grace of God to lift you back up.
I will be praying for you, Marlene. Jesus died to give you hope no matter what you have done. He loves you with an enduring love in spite of your sin. He is the God of the second chance. He wants you with him, Marlene. Never let the enemy convince you of anything different.
I am here if you want to talk. My email is on my blog. I am praying for you. You are not alone in your battle. All of us here will join with you in prayer. God bless you, dear sister, and be in peace.

Hi Gloria, I am so glad that God brought you to my site. I always pray that he will send the people to hear the messages he gives me to share. We all have our struggles, dear sister. These are dark times and it sometimes is hard to stand in our faith. But now is the time to show who we belong to and whose strength is the hope we cling to. Jesus never fails. It may seem like he is slow in answering your prayers but the truth is that he is working things out greater than you can imagine. Don’t grow weary, my friend. Our troubles are nothing compared to what he has to give us. Hold on. Your God sees where you are.

Dear Marianne, The words you write, inspired by the Holy Spirit, are so uplifting and encouraging. Please pray for me. I am a Montessori pre-school teacher and am almost 70 years old. I still need to work to pay for my expenses. My boss is trying to get me to retire after this school year. After 22 years of dedicated service to this school, it is very difficult and scary for me to know that I am no longer wanted. How will I find another job at my age? God bless you and your work. Hi Celeste,
I know it can be scary when you are facing uncertainty about your future. You have done a good job teaching the children and I am sure that you were dedicated to them. I will be praying for you, my sister. I don’t know what God has for your future but if you are surrendered to Christ, He is the One who is in control. In other words, no one can take your job if that is not the will of Christ for your life. Your days have been planned. God still has a purpose for your life and he will make sure that it is fulfilled.
I have been through similar situations and all I can tell you is that God is faithful to those who love him. I am praying that God will give you his peace as he works this out. I pray that He opens the right doors for you and gives you discernment for what he has for you. Don’t worry about where you will find another job. God already has that planned. Please, if you don’t already, be sure to read your bible daily. He speaks to you through his word. He fills you with his strength and gives you the armor for what you face.
Dear friend, I know without a doubt that God’s perfect, divine will shall happen. While it can be hurtful to think that at our age, someone may think we have used up our usefulness but the truth is God doesn’t think that. Your value increases with age as you grow in the knowledge of the power of your God. I will be praying for you. I have no doubt that God is doing something right now in your situation. Keep your eyes on Christ for he has his eyes on you. You are never alone.
Stay in peace, Celeste. Watch and see how God works. If he moves you from that school, it will only be to promote you. You can email me anytime you need to talk. I always have tome for a friend.

Antonio, It is so good to hear from you again. I pray you are doing well. I keep you in prayer as I do all who come to my site. I care about everyone who has been to my blog whether they left a comment or not. Each message I write comes from my heart that is filled with the love of Jesus. He is the promise that that never fails. The darkness that is covering this earth is filled with deception and evil However, we knew that in the last days that lawlessness would increase as the love of most would grow cold. Nothing is a surprise to Christ Prophecy is unfolding before our very eyes. There is no reason for believers to fear at this time for soon our Blessed Hope will return to take us with Him to heaven. Thank you for joining with me to pray without ceasing for the lost and the hurting. Our work is not done until Christ returns. Please keep in touch and let me know how you are doing. My love and prayers are with you.

My rash has almost completely covered my body from the waist down. I have some on my hands, arms and face also. My feet and angles are swollen and on some days it’s difficult to walk. God truly does have the perfect plan for your life. No matter what you go through He has a way to work all things out for your good and for his will for you. All that comes against you must bow to the will of God for your life. No matter how bad your struggle is, God will always be in stronger, and he is always in control. I am praying for you. My verse for you is Romans 15:13, ” May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope”. Stay in God’s peace.
