And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved (Matt 24:12-13)
Without a doubt, we are living in ending days as this world deals with a pandemic COVID-19 virus that has wreaked havoc on all nations. Crisis situations have a way of bringing out the good and the bad in people. Some people are turning to God and others still turn to their own ways. Facing uncertain times can fill you with fear. You may have lost all that you had in this world but the good news is that you can never lose the benefits of God’s mercy and provision for all that you need. Trials are a way to learn patience and to grow in your faith. Every battle in your life has the power to do a greater work in you and to reveal more of God’s grace and strength.
We may know where this virus started, but are left with unclear reasons as to how and why God allowed it to happen. He had a reason, however, we may never discern that reason this side of heaven.
So what do we know? We read in Scripture that God’s ways are much higher than those of man. He sees the beginning and end of this world and nothing is hidden from him. You were loved even before God formed you in the womb. While we may not understand the purpose of our sufferings, bear in mind that Jesus clearly told us that in his word that we would have many troubles in our lives. Right now, Satan is still the prince over this earth but he knows his time is growing short. Those who are surrendered to Christ are dealing with the same painful trials as the lost as the enemy seeks to take down believers all through this world in order to make them ineffective witnesses.
We are not exempt from pain and persecution. What is promised by God is that He would be with us to the end in our trials and take us through them. He has overcome the world! You are never alone in your struggles nor are you ever without hope. In the midst of your darkest day, there is a light of hope through Christ that leads you to victory. You may be afflicted in every way but you can never be crushed. You may be struck down but you can never be destroyed. The hope of Christ that is with you is your guarantee that all things you endure are working out for your good both in this world and in heaven.
It takes faith and forbearance for all believers as time grows short. Things will get worse. That should not frighten a true believer for we knew this time would come. While we don’t know the day and hour of his return, Christ has given us signs to know when it is near. As we watch every day as the signs converge and evil increases, the darkness is filling this earth. In spite of that, we know that it is signaling the return of our Blessed Hope, Jesus Christ, who is coming to make all things new.
Whatever overwhelming situation you are dealing with in this time of crisis, remember that Christ saw you before he formed you in the womb and he is going to be the strength you need to get through it. Nothing can happen to you apart from his perfect will even when you don’t understand his ways. God is more powerful than this virus.
The last enemy to be destroyed is death. Satan may rule this world for a short time more but our eternal home is secured in a kingdom that will never end. For now, stay in the battle and finish the race that was prepared for you until Jesus returns to take you home. You can’t lose no matter what happens here.
Soon we will be with Christ. Look up, for your Redemption draws near!

It is good to hear from you again. I have not received your messages for a long time. My divorce ended nearly 5 years ago when I discovered your writings. It calms my heart to hear from you again and to let others know they are not alone. God bless God bless

Your troubles are not hidden from him and his love is more than able to meet your needs. Your struggles are for a moment. The days are growing shorter and soon we will be with our Blessed Hope, Jesus Christ! Be strong and continue to read your bible. I hope to be writing more as I share the truth of God’s promises. Thank you, dear friend, for taking the time to comment. I know we all are feeling uncertain in these times of great financial loss and pandemic virus fears. The reason I wanted to say something now is to remind everyone in Christ that we don’t have to fear. All that we suffer will be used for our good and for God’s glory. Christ has us hemmed in behind and before from all that comes against us. What he allows to happen has a divine, deliberate purpose for our lives. Stay in faith no matter how dark it may get and keep your eyes focused on Jesus. Our future is safe and guaranteed to be victorious because what can this world do to us that our God can’t cause to be used for our benefit? Faith doesn’t have to see God to believe he is with us. We don’t need signs to show us he never leaves us for a second. He has promised it and sealed it with his blood. Even the gates of hell cannot take down a believer who is walking in faith.
We are living in a time like no other but our hope reigns eternal. I pray you are staying strong in your faith and enduring until the end. It will be worth the struggle to get the reward that Christ has prepared for those who love him. I am praying for you now, dear friend. You are not helpless when you belong to Christ. You have the armies of the living God watching over you!
Thank you for your note of encouragement. I truly appreciated it. May God keep you in His perfect peace.

Anonymous, I blessed that you were comforted by the article God gave me to write. Whatever struggle you are going through in your life, there is an answer to it in Christ. He who knew your name long before you were born has a perfect plan for those who put their trust in Him. I am praying for you now and will continue to keep you in my prayers. I trust God has a reason for those whom He brings to my site.
My next-door neighbor is from South Africa. She also is a lovely sister in Christ. Glad you stopped by from South Africa!
Be in peace no matter how dark your situation may get. God has a purpose for your life and even the gates of hell cannot stop Him from fulfilling it.

Hi Juliette, It is so good to hear from you again! I think about you often and you’re always in my prayers. Hope that all is well for you. We both had major changes in our lives but we know that God is the one who still orchestrates the perfect plan for our future. He causes all things to work out for good, even when it doesn’t seem so good.
Take care, dear sister, and drop me a line when you can talk.
