“…but deliver us from the evil one” (Matthew 6:13)
Stop the world, I want to get off! How many of us have had that thought? As the days grow shorter, the enemy has pulled out all the stops in his attacks. For that reason, there is an alarming number of people who just want to give up and some have even committed suicide. Many more have given thought to ending their life. In all these cases, Satan was able to convince them that there is no reason to live. His voice has tempted them to believe that the trial they are facing will never get better and it will never end. Jesus paid the price to overcome in every trouble and yet too many of us sadly cannot believe him.
We have all experienced those times in life when the battles we faced were so overwhelming that all hope just vanished. It can be very hard to recover when a loved one dies too soon and your heart is breaking from sadness. Marriages hardly seem worth the price of the license as spouses can leave their families without a hint of compunction. They always offer some excuse, but the bottom line is their vow and commitment to God meant nothing.
Financial problems are plaguing all of us in some way. Homes are being foreclosed and many are facing homelessness for the first time. Too often single mothers are destitute trying to raise their children alone. It seems never-ending as each day brings more problems.
To add to all of this, there is an overwhelming number of those with addictions to drugs, alcohol, gambling and pornography. Crime has greatly increased and prisons are filled with dark forces of evil. Poverty and deadly diseases are at an all time high throughout this world. Earthquakes, tornadoes and floods have literally changed the geography of several states and countries.
Finally, never before have we seen the degree of sin and evil that defy understanding. News of parents who kill their own children without reason or remorse is becoming commonplace! Children are no longer protected from harm. We are literally living in a time when truth has been exchanged for a destructive lie. The hearts of most have grown cold as godlessness fills the earth to overflow.
The Apostle Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 3 :”There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God – having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them.” We are in those “terrible” times and it is now that you must choose what is right.
The forecast for this world is indeed dim. My heart breaks as I watch the massive deception that is filling this earth. In every country, people are crying out for God’s help in the midst of their struggles, but yet they are unwilling to surrender their lives to his will. Most do not understand that there will never be victory for them unless Christ rules in their hearts.
My friends, I want you to understand the most important part of this message. We are all living in perilous, troublesome times. Until Christ returns to make all things new, there is going to be trials and storms in the life of every believer. Those trials are not meant to drive you away from God and his purpose. They are permitted in your life to bring you to the power of God and his strength. For that reason, the enemy keeps taunting you to give up and believe that Christ was not enough or that he did not show up in time. The fact is that the legions of God’s angels are surrounding you right now. Your faith is being perfected as each battle brings you further up the mountain and closer to the face of God!
Those who feel that they cannot endure this life anymore and who want to die are listening to the lies from a defeated foe who has been rendered powerless and hopeless by the cross of Christ. That lie cannot hurt you unless you believe it! Take heart, my weary friends, for God is willing to breathe into you new life if you will just keep your eyes on him. You have the authority to move mountains and that means that you can take hope knowing that there is no boundary, no ocean, no pain and no bondage that can keep you a prisoner when the blood of Christ has set you free!
Whatever you are struggling with, your God is bigger. To those who are suffering with depression and even self-mutilation, there is a way out. That prison of affliction cannot keep you chained up any longer! Put your trust in Christ who paid the price to heal every disease and to restore marriages, homes and heal heartaches. He will get you through your financial battle and it is then that you will know Christ and his love for you that never fails.
Wherever you are, God sees you and knows your pain. Hold on and keep trusting for he knows how to rescue you if you don’t give up.
I am praying for all who need to hear this message. You are not alone for God has burdened others to pray for you. I hope that you will take to heart all that God has given me to write. Remember that your pain will not last forever. Only believe!

Marianne, your post is so timely! Just today as I was praying and wishing for the Lord’s return-I was reminded that there are so many still who do not know Him that with just some witness, might be saved. And so I am sure He taries as He wants no one to perish…but so many DO CHOOSE the lie. Thank you for reminding all of us to stand strong. It was particularly a hard May for me with 2 asthma attacks back to back–one part of me just wishing it was over, the other gasping for breath. But the Lord was there with me, this time, in the corner, reminding me HE would always be there with me, that I must not be afraid, nor panic. So now, my greatest fear is gone-dying of an asthma attack! Isn’t the Lord great! That He would come and be with me, to take my fear away after so many years?

Mercy, what can I add lol.Oh Marianne what a blessing this post is filled with needed encouragement, you’re so right so many are giving in and giving up.But good support like this will help us hold on just a little longer,it gives us breathing room and that’s all is needed for the Holy Spirit to get back control “Hallelujah”! I thank God for you and the wisdom he has poured in you!
“Wherever you are, God sees you and knows your pain. Hold on and keep trusting for he knows how to rescue you if you don’t give up”. This is the key.
Love you much and I do appreciate you Marianne 😀 😀

Thank you for your much needed post. The Evil One rages more than ever against anyone that shares the truth of the gospel of Christ. Intercessors are a special target upon whom the Enemy heaps ugly accusations and false condemnation, anything to discourage one that prays for others. We must cling to Jesus for comfort and strength, and we must speak the Word of God to refute all lies of the Devil. Grace is ours and we must claim it by faith. Blessings to you, Marianne…

Hi Carol. you are so right! The enemy does hit strongly those who are bringing out the gospel of Christ and shining a light on the truth. We all must be praying for each as we continue the work that Christ has begun in us. As the days grow shorter, it will be more difficult but we must work harder still! Bless you, Carol!

I am so glad you stopped by, Patty Ann! I know the work you are doing and we both are trying to help others know that there is always hope with Christ. I just can’t believe how the darkness has filled this earth. It is hard to watch the news anymore. I just keep praying and trusting and with God’s help, I try to reach as many as I can with the good news that we have victory through Christ! Always an honor when you visit, Pat. Hope you are doing well. I am praying for you.

Cindy, I am glad that you kept up the good fight despite your physical ailments. I am so sorry that you had a bad month in May. Asthma literally feels like the breath is sucked right out of your lungs. I have heard the painful gasps of air from friends with asthma. My heart is wtih you and I will be praying for your healing.
Despite what we must suffer on this earth, our thoughts must still be on the kingdom and what does God want us to do to bring more lost souls to him. That is especially difficult when we are wounded ourselves! It is so good to hear that your fear of dying from an asthma attack has been taken away. We just need to continue in the work and be ready for Christ is coming soon to take us home. I will be praying for you, my friend. I do already pray for all of my blog friends, but I will be lifting your health issues up also. I know God’s plan for your life is not going to be stopped by your affliction! Stand on the truth and don’t let the enemy convince you otherwise! Stay strong, my sister!!

Hi Marianne,
Thank you for this. Your inspiring message came just in the nick of time! I have been dealing with the forces of Satan on every hand. For almost two years, I have been going through a horrific trial, in which my now ex-husband took our then 12-month old child away from me, moved him to another state (I live in Texas, he is in Maryland), lied to the courts, took full custody and declared me an unfit mother. To date, I have not seen my baby for 16 months. All because I am a true believer, a woman of God and would not be manipulated by his evil, satanic devices. I do know that I will have the victory, but many times feel totally discouraged and alone in this ongoing battle. Lately, I find myself questioning God as to when this suffering will end…Many times, it seems almost too much to bare! Please remember me and my child as you lift your prayers up to the Father.

Hi Trina, I am so very sorry for all that you are going through. I can’t even imagine the pain of not being able to see my baby for all that time. I will be praying for you and your son. I believe that God will help you. It is he who determines the life of every child and what happens to them. For whatever reason that this has all happned to you, I will be praying for God to comfort you as he works it all out. It seems like this situation is more than what you would want to have printed here. Please email me at: commish07@zoominternet.net when you want to talk privately. I know it can feel like you are alone in this battle but the truth is that you are not. I will be praying for you and I trust that God has the answer! Stay strong, Trina, and know that he is God! Please let me know how you are doing.

Hello Marianne,
Truly a word in season! Satan, as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour! Praise God, “It is of the LORD’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Through Christ, we are more than conquerors!
Our salvation is nearer than when we first believed, and it behooves us to strive to endure until the end! Though Satan be a cunning adversary, he is a “defeated foe.” Thank you so much for the encouragement! May God continue to use you, to touch the hearts and minds of His people, worldwide! Paulette

Well said!! Isn’t it interesting that, through it all, it comes down to faith – faith that saves, faith that gives us hope, faith that allows us to live for Christ. Faith that is a gift from God. Thanks for sharing the truth and these words of encouragment, Marianne!

Marianne, This is an excellent post! Very encouraging. I remember the day, many years ago, that I heard the lie that it would be better for my son and husband if I just killed myself. I am so thankful that the voice of Truth was louder than the lies. I know that trials still lie ahead, but He is with me and will see me to my Heavenly Home one day. Peace, Linda

Hi Paulette, thank you for stopping by and commentng. Our salvation is nearer than when we first believed and for that reason we must hold on in faith despite the darkness that surrounds us. We are all struggling but God is working out a divine, eternal plan for us.

Yes Linden, it all comes down to faith and the eyes of God roam the earth to find those who are fully committed to him. What else matters? Soon our Blessed Hope, Jesus Christ, will come for us.

Hi Linda, so glad you stopped. I can’t even imagine saying it would be better if you just killed yourself! Whoever it was, Satan was behind it with his lies! We are created for God’s glory and it is his love that keeps us going despite our problems. I am so glad that your knew the lie when you heard it and are here today to give honor to God!
God bless you, Linda, as you continue in the work of Christ!

Marianne, you have struck a chord in the soul and lives of the vast number of all mankind with this post. There can be no doubt to the fact that your writing is inspired of God. You make us all re-think our response as to how we should deal with the certainties that beset us that we recognize only as the un-certainties of life. I have found your messages to be more Christ centered and spirit directing than can be found from all too many recognized pulpits. Many thanks for being here for us; You’re one of the good one’s.

Rome was wonderful – thanks for asking! The part that most impacted me was a tour of a 2600 year old prison where tradition holds that both Peter and Paul were chained prior to their martyrdom. It was a dark, wet, foul, and depressing place to be as you awaited a cruel death. Yet from such places letters like Galatians (freedom!) and Philippians (joy!) were penned. Makes you think, eh?

Ken
Very powerful and truthful words Marianne. When I was greiving my wifes death I do not know how many times I looked up to heaven and said “right now is a good time for the rapture.” My heart longs to see Eileen again, but Jesus has me here for a reason. I have really had to hold onto what Paul said “to live is Christ and to die is gain.” The day He calls my name, I am ready to go. But He has chosen this time for me to be here on earth to be a light in this dark and dying world.
The Lord has brought me a long way since Eileen died and He is good. What you say is so true to the believer in Christ, “your pain will not last forever.” No matter how bad things get we have a glorious future to look forward to. For so many people out there, their future is an eternity in hell unless they come to Christ and receive forgivness of sins. We need to be living our lives in ways that bring glory to God and preaching the gospel to the unbelievers that they might be saved.
We must always remember, no matter how bad things gets, Jesus will never leave us of forsake us. Lets keep our eyes on Him and do His will. Instead of becoming depressed in our situation, look to what God is doing through it. He is always at work.
God bless you Marianne and thank you for this most needed post. You are in my prayers.

I don’t know Marianne. Are you suggesting that I stop taking my meds, going to doctors, and give myself to God as a cure to my mental illnesses? If I do that and end up dying, then people will say I didn’t give myself completely to God. Or If I don’t do anything and taking my meds, then I am not trusting God. This is a serious point. Could I ask a diabetic to stop taking his insulin and trust in God? I don’t know what the right answer is. Hugs. Marie.
June 8, 2011 at 7:01 pm
Marianne Lordi
Hi LV (Marie)! I would never suggest that anyone stop taking their prescribed medication. That is NEVER indicated in scripture. I personally believe that God gave us doctors with the knowledge on how to treat our diseases and what medications we need to get it under control. When I say that God can heal your diseases, I just mean that he can heal by any means he chooses. He can just heal you. He can heal you through doctors and medicine. It will always be his choice. In the Old Testament 2 Kings, Chapter 20, King Hezekiah was told by Isaiah that he was going to die. Hezekiah wept bitterly and moved God’s heart. God had the prophet Isaiah go back in and tell him that he would heal him and that he would live another 15 years. The prophet then told King Hezekiah to make a poultice of figs and put it on the boil that was causing him a deadly infection. After Hezekiah did what he was told, he then was healed. We are never to assume ever that we should stop our meds and wait for a healing. That is not how God works.
In your case, I know you struggle with issues that sometimes cause you to want to hurt yourself or even give up on life. You have had a rough time with this. I had you in mind when I wrote this article. I truly believe that you will come to the knowledge of Christ and and his salvation and that his plan for your life will be good. You never have to give up. You just need to give it up to Christ and let his power be yours. I know you can’t trust him yet. I pray for you all the time, Marie. I really care about what happens to you. I think we were put together as friends for a purpose! I am so proud of how you are beginning to have hope in your life. That is an answer to my prayers! 🙂

Hi Ken, so nice that you stopped by. The fact that you can still remember no matter how dark the battle gets that Christ will never forsake you is an indication of your trust . You lost your wife and then faced other struggles in your life. Through it all, you never wavered in your trust. I know you must get weary, sometimes, Ken. I hope it helps you to know that there are many of us who care about you. I was just lifting you up in prayer this afternoon. Your walk of faith is such an inspiration to me. You have been through a lot and yet you still write of God’s faithfulness to you! God bless you, my friend, for walking the faith you write about!

You gotta be one of the sweetest person in the world. I knew you were not implying I quit my meds. And I am specially glad you reminded me of 2 Kings, chapter 20. I have forgotten about that one, and it will really come in handy when I encounter people who advocate we throw away our meds, pick our mats and begin to walk…
It is my fault I didn’t phrase my questions better. I tell many people that God also created science and doctors to come up with solutions to many illnesses. Hahaha… I am already sounding like a Christian. You are going to have me converted in no time. LOL.
It was a beautiful post, I truly enjoyed it. Do you believe that the end of time can be avoided? The things in Revelation, is it our destiny, or can it be avoided? Just wondering… Big Hugs. LV/Marie
June 8, 2011 at 7:45 pm
Marianne Lordi
Hi Marie, thanks for clarifying that. I just want you to know that I am looking out for you, my friend! You ask if the end of time can be avoided? The answer is no. In God’s plan, Marie, he has a time for his return to make all things new. Those who have put their faith in the finished work of the cross have nothing to fear. The end of days here mark our eternal life in heaven with Christ. Can you see how dark the world has become? There is an increase in evil and sin and no one is safe. Look at all the wars and persecution going on around the world. Do you want this perishing world to continue? It is getting worse. I look forward to that day when Christ comes for me. Until he does, I keep my eyes on him and do his work. Nothing else brings me greater joy. I am not a special person. I am a sinner who was saved by the grace of God. I was an enemy of God for many years until he revealed himself to me. I can’t explain that kind of love that God would want such a broken rebellious person that I was …….BUT HE DID.
The best news, LV, is that he wants YOU! He knows of your struggles and your pain. He knows of the hurts that you hold deep inside you. He knows the battle you face everyday with your health and he has a way to take you to victory despite all that. He wants to make you whole. He wants to show you that he can give you joy despite the trials you face. Most importantly, he wants you to live forever with him. Now Marie, these are just nice words. What I have just said is the undying truth of God! He has me praying for you all the time. And most of all, he has given me a love and concern for you. I know it will take time for you to get there. I just want you to know that I am with you no matter how bad it gets. You told me that religion left you feeling empty and as I said, I felt the same. What I am speaking about is NOT religion. It just a relationship with Christ. It is being one with him and trusting him in all that you go through. Then you will know without a doubt that you have nothing to fear when the Lord returns to bring his people with him.
Marie, I am praying for you. I am not pushing anything on you. But I do want you to know that if you ever want to talk about this or anything else confidentially, you can email me: commish07@zoominternet.net I always have time to listen! God bless you, my friend.
You are NEVER alone!

Marianne, my friend, every time I come here, I see how God uses you to help the hurting. I was physically hurting this last week, because of respiratory problems (coughing, cold in my eyes, sleeplessness, some pain, i.e. pure misery!). I thought maybe I had the flu. It was just a lingering summer cold. Yet, i remembered that just talking to with you about it briefly was such a help to me. I try to help others too, but I believe you far excel me in that area. But I saw that if I was helped with a minor annoyance like a stubborn cold, your counsel is helping so many in far worse shape than I was. Let me encourage you to keep being available to God in this way. If you ever feel something I write or preach can help some of these needy people, feel free to pass it on. With my love to you in Christ Jesus, Charles

I read this a few days ago and agreed with it so much I didn’t know how to comment. Go figure. This morning a couple of lines caught my attention.
“Those trials are not meant to drive you away from God and his purpose. They are permitted in your life to bring you to the power of God and his strength.”
and
“That lie cannot hurt you unless you believe it!”
It reminded me of something I saw in Luke. In 5:16 “Jesus often withdrew to solitary places to pray.” In 8:29, the demon possessed man “had been driven by the demon into solitary places”
I remember thinking . . . Satan drives us into solitary places for our distruction, while God draws us into them for our strength.
Our enemy is full of lies designed to destroy us. The only remedy is the truth.
June 12, 2011 at 1:12 pm
Marianne Lordi
Hi Mike, Thanks for visiting and for commenting. I never really realized that point you made but boy are you right on! Satan does make us feel alone as he gets us to cower in his attacks on us. God draws us to him alone to fill us with his strength when we have none of our own. What you said is a teaching of its own. I think you need to write on that. That was such a great point.! Thanks again, Mike.

Good afternoon. This is such an important topic because folks from every segment of society are at their wits end. Even saints are despairing even of life as circumstances can seem overwhelming. I know this firsthand because, as of late we have been (and still are) facing obstacles that appear insurmountable. I’ve wrestled with thoughts that I never imagined would enteer my mind and repelling the firey darts has become a continuous battle.
Nonetheless, the trials of our faith work patience and, more than ever before, my affections are in heavenly places. Thanks for discussing this topic. As the end draws ever closer, Satan and his minions will work feverishly to discourage, and if possible, derail the faith of those who are born of the Spirit. May we all be alert to his devices, atuned to the Holy Spirit, and determined that regardless of circumstances, we will maintain the testimony of Jesus.
Blessings always in Jesus name.

Hi timbob, I appreciate you stopping by. I know from reading your blog messages that you are truly waiting for the return of Christ also. You are right that our trials work patience and I believe that they are getting us ready for what is to come. Our problems may seem insurmountable but they are being used for God’s purpose in our lives. They cannot destroy us. They can only bring us to a point where we can see through the fire to the glory of our God who is working all things out for our good.
God bless you, my friend. And please keep writing the truth as you are being led by God!

Hi Morena, I am glad that God brought you here to this site. I pray for those who need to hear these messages that he gives to me to write. I know you are feeling down right now but remember, Christ has promised you a future despite what happens to you in your life. Your struggles and pain cannot stop God from fulfilling his promise to take you through this life in victory. If you belong to Christ, he has the plan for you and it won’t fail. Your husband will pay a consequence for his actions. You still have hope even though your husband left you because Jesus said he is your Provider, your Portion and your Hope. He will never leave you and he is by your side as your strength to carry on. I will be praying for you, dear sister. You will come through this because Jesus has the power and authority to take you through it safely and provide for all that you need. I am here and you can email me if you want to talk privately. I have been to this website before when i went through an emotional struggle with my ex boyfriend… He decided to move on and meet someone else, leaving me with two beautiful young children to raise. I went through emotional hell, as one would could call it. I thought this man would have been my soul mate and thought we had soo much in common; sharing everything in life. I want to share my testimony and prove that the devil is a liar! This man was full of deceitful lies, whom I had known for six years. I threw all that time away to the enemy but I am witnessing that God healed my emotional pain and heartache overtime. The father still treats me with disrespect and only asks how his children are doing. Every blue moon, he would say he loves me and wants to see us, but that too is a lie. His actions speaks louder than his words and even though he found a so called “true” love, as he would name it, I feel sorry for him and the woman because he jumped right into a new relationship so fast! Anyway, the devil still taunts me, as I get closer to God and I can feel the attacks coming (emotional distress) but I know that if God healed me in the past, He can do it again for good. I thank God that this man moved on because He would only be a hinderance to my growth in Christ. I feel so much better now than I did before, when all this began. God is a healer; no need for drugs or alcohol, if we just keep our eyes on Him at ALL times. God will be my vindicator and rebuke evil men.

Hi Morena, You have been through so much, dear friend, and you certainly did not deserve to live with someone who belittled and disrespected you. The fact that he did not marry you first showed that he had no respect or true love for you. He was a user. My sister, you must never sell yourself short to any man like that. You are worth much more! The pain you have now is not over what you lost but rather for what you never had. This man is a bully and you do not need to be around men like that.
When God sends you a spouse, it will be one who will love you enough to wait until you are married before ever having sex. The only way for a relationship to work is to do it God’s way! When you don’t wait for marriage first, you start off your relationship broken and it only goes downhill from there. There will be the right man who will love you and your four children. Wait for him. You do not need to be called worthless or any other name. Don’t sell yourself short, Morena. Be wise with anyone you let into your life.
I will be praying for you, my friend. You must remember that God is with you if you call upon him. If you make Christ your Savior, he will not fail you . He has a plan for your life and this break-up is not going to stop him from giving you a future with hope when you keep your eyes on him. Do it the right way, my sister. Turn to Christ and let him guide you. You and your children do not need to hear lies from the enemy and be abused by some man who is not even caring for his children.
If you want to talk privately, you can email me. I will be praying for God to help you understand your value to him! Be strong, Morena. There is always reason for hope when you have surrendered your life to Jesus. I am here praying for you. With Christ, you will never be alone!

Normally, an optimistic person, I have been dealing with depression over the past month. I know it is an accumulation of a series of life events; death of father, mother’s illness, family conflicts, job loss, and some physical issues. It seems as if everything has happened in rapid succession, and I can barely “catch my breath” Thanks for sharing this article and reminding me not to surrender to the enemy. We have his Holy Spirit in us, and we are more than conquerors! It’s time for me to claim His Word in my circumstances.

Hi Susan, Sorry that you are going through a depression. I know how that is. Sometimes our life seems like it is out of control and very overwhelming. It is at that time, dear sister, that you must draw near to Christ and let his strength be your force. All that we face in this perishing world can bring us down but we don’t have to stay there. We have hope because we are in Christ. He has guaranteed us that he would be with us and that he will work out for our good all that we endure. It is a painful time, I know, my friend. In the end, though, you will see that the power of Christ in you was all that you needed to overcome. I will be praying for you, Susan. And I am here if you ever want to email me and talk. God bless you and stay in his peace.

Jilbert
Hi, I’m jilbert from the Philippines. It is my first time to check on this site coz I’m really looking for an inspirational messages or videos that would uplift my believes in God. When I saw the title of this blog ” Never Surrender to the Enemy” it really catches my attention because without you knowing Im about to do that, to surrender my life to the enemy.. I am so depressed for couple of months now because of our financial problem. I dont know what to do.I even think of ending my life just to finish all this things that is happening to me.. I always ask God the question why?? why me? I know that I should not question God. But I’m just human I have feelings that most of the time I feel like Im all alone, being neglected, unappreciated, and felling unwelcome. Coz this all happen when I start joining the christian community I mean to become a born again christian. My family and I actually invited by a friend to attend in their church anniversary last year from then on we decided to attend every sunday service coz I feel the presence of God every time we attend the service. But when 2013 came all the problems also came in we were heavily indebted to the point that my daughter needs to transfer to a public school coz I cant afford her tuition fees anymore,my wife and I always have disagreement, unable to go to work coz I dont have money and a lot more. Those things happens all at the same time I cant just imagine why this happening to us i am a believer of Christ my faith is with God. One of our pastor told me that its just a trial ,a test of how faithful i am to God. That is what I’m holding right now that this is just a test, a test that will end up soon. I’m doing all my best being the provider of my family I actually have 2 kid.s all I want is to give whats best for them,I just want them to be happy. I know that money cannot buy the happiness of a person but how can you be happy if your stomach is empty? As what my parents taught me that money is not important in this world but I think nowadays its totally different especially now that I have kids money is very important Im sorry but yes it is important especially for me who is suffering from financial crisis right now. I love my family so much.
I really hope that you totally understand my situation and my feelings right now. But I believe once i pay all my debt and put everything into places I will be back in my normal life.

Hi Jilbert,
I am so sorry for all of the problems you are facing but never give up and never give in to the lies of the enemy. God has a way to take you through them but you will have to trust his timing. I am praying for you, dear friend. I know that a lot of us are facing financial difficulties but that is part of the times we are living in. It is hard but those who hold on to the end and don’t give up will receive all that Christ has to give. Please be sure to read your bible every day and let the truth of God’s word give you hope.
I will keep praying for you and I am here if you want to talk. Be strong, my friend. God knows where you are and what you need. Keep your eyes and your heart on him.

Raymond, I am so glad to hear you understand that vital truth! When you are in Christ, HE paid your debt. HE set you free. HE bore your punishment. All he asks is that we surrender to him so that he can take us from where we are to where he is!
Nothing defeats a true child of God. Keep your eyes on Christ no matter how bad the storm gets. He will be with you and always take you to victory.
Raymond, I will keep you in prayer. God bless you!

Marianne, Very glad to hear such a wonderful words even in this world. At the moment it seems everything is collapsing around me. Business is so bad that I do not even have enough cash to pay for stock, and the tax office is after those 2 years ago unpaid bill! At this moment, I really wondering whether there is a sovereign God. Sometime, I can see God helping hand, then Satan seems always had a upper hand. Like I was just negotiated with the tax office to delay the payment, then another huge bill arrived. I am going to the bank this week to ask for extension of my overdraft. I really need a prayer as I do not want my family (which are very committed Christian) to know. Please pray for me for the break through from Satan. By faith I know that God is in control, but somehow I do not have the peace in my heart. I wanted to give up so many times, but because of my family I tried to keep going, but it seems that everywhere is closed door, no way out!!!

Anonymous, you just read a great message that God gave to me about holding on and not giving in the lies of the enemy. It is hard to keep trusting when you are overwhelmed with debt and there seems to be no way out. My friend, I have been there and I will be praying for you. There is a way out and Christ will be with you. If you have put your trust in him, he won’t fail you. We are living in dark times of exile in this world as trouble is around every corner. That does not mean that your God does not care or that he won’t help. He will. I will pray for you to be open to his leading. There are no closed doors to the children of God! There is no impossible situation. I have been there. I have struggled too. I almost lost my home. Somehow, God opened a door when I thought all hope was lost.
My friend, in this time of testing, will you be found to have the faith that it takes to hold on and trust? That is what defines you as a true believer and not one who just gives out words that mean nothing. Hold on. I will join you in this battle and I will be praying for you. We serve a God whose eyes are on his own at all times. Do you think he doesn’t see? What is he trying to show you? Pray about it. Seek his guidance and counsel. All through the bible God challenged his people to trust him when disaster was on all sides. Can you do that? I know it is hard. I am going through things right now that have shaken me to the core but I believe that God has taken me too far to start doubting him now.
You are not alone, my friend, even though you feel like you are. I assure you by the word of God that he has his angels surrounding you to keep you on the path that he designated for you long before you were born. He has the plan and it won’t fail. He has set your future and none of your troubles can stop that. Everything God allows is for a purpose. I don’t understand his ways. I just know that he can be trusted.
I am here, dear friend. You can email me if you ever need to talk privately. Please know that I will keep you in prayer. This battle is already won. Let God do his work in you. Show the enemy that you still believe that your God is more than able to take care of your money problems. Watch and see how he rewards you for your faith.
God bless you and may you understand that your troubles are always his tool to make you into the image of Christ. You can’t lose.
