God’s love is with you at all times!
It is easier to trust God in the good times. It takes much more faith to keep that trust during painful trials. Tough times happen to everyone. It is sometimes difficult to believe that God is willing to take you through the impossible situations in your life. But faith is the most important thing that you must have in this age of crisis and turmoil The peace of God that transcends all understanding is predicated on believing that God’s word is true. Without faith it is impossible to please God because faith is the key to all the strength and power that God has to give us. It simply means that you believe that God is bigger than your problems.
Scripture records the miracles that Jesus performed while on this earth. In Matthew 9:29, two blind men asked Jesus to heal them. Jesus replied, “According to your faith will it be done to you”, and their sight was restored. A ruler came and asked Jesus to put his hand on his daughter that she might live. Because of the ruler’s faith, Jesus brought his daughter back to life. The Apostles also worked by faith. In Acts 14, Paul looked directly at a crippled man and saw that he had the faith to be healed. He called for the man to stand and he was healed. Many people were saved and their bodies healed as they took that first step to trust that Jesus was truly the Savior of the world.
True faith always honors God. It is being sure of what you hope for and certain of what you do not see. It is unbridled belief in the Son of God who gave his life for us. There is nothing that God won’t do for those who put their trust in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. It was Jesus who called us to lay our burdens at his feet. Perfect peace is given to all who are willing to trust him with everything. Though it may be difficult to stay strong when your world is crumbling all around you, the name of Jesus will always be your shield.
In Mark 9:24, a man with a son possessed by a spirit asked Jesus for his help. When Jesus asked the man if he believed that he could heal his son, the man answered, “I do believe Lord; help me overcome my unbelief!”. Jesus is so merciful to remember that we are weak. He will never hold it against us if we ask for his help to believe him through our struggles.
Striving to work out impossible situations will never succeed. It is only the power of God that can rescue us from the storm. You may have a serious health issue, financial problems, drug or alcohol addictions or even a broken heart but nothing is too hard for our God who created the heavens and the earth and everything in them. We are told by God in Isaiah 41:13, “For I am the LORD your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you”. That is a promise that Jesus bought for us at Calvary.
Whatever trial or pain you are in, remember that God’s love will never leave your side. Call on him right now to strengthen you to overcome your unbelief. He will help you take that first step in trust so that you will know that God is big enough to conquer all of your problems.

I have been checking in often through out the day, specifically to see if you had anything new posted. Glad to see there is. Keep writing my sister, stay faithful in your calling. By doing so you continue to honor God and I know He will honor you. More so because you continue to seek His face and continue to write even during the times of weariness. When you are weak, He is strong. Continue doing ALL things through our Lord who strengthens you. So many people need to read what it is you post. So many of us struggle each day and need to be reminded where it is we need to turn in times of trouble and who it is we can trust in the darkest of moments. Keep looking toward that night “light” it is always on.
in love your brother

Thanks Lorenzo. I know you are right and in my weariness I can continue because Christ strength lives in me. Strength to Believe is the title of this article, and isn’t that what I myself need? I just keep focusing on the fact that no matter what I go through, God has a perfect plan for my life that can’t be stopped. I don’t know how he is going to do it. I just know without a doubt that he is! For now, that is what I fill my mind with.

Thank you very much sister for such an inspiring message. I have been out of employment for the past 8 months. With 2 kids and financial committments, it has been a tough time. Sometimes I feel like giving up on God ( ref. Job – “curse God and die”), but I know deep in my heart that God watches over me. Thank you very much for your uplifting message.

Hi Lawrence, trials are hitting all of us. Those who belong to Christ understand that he is the middle of their struggle and he will work it all out in a way to cause good not evil. God is watching over you, Lawerence. And even the devil knows that he is watching you and that he has authority over all that comes against you! Stay strong, dear brother. God is not going to fail you.

I need help so badly with remembering the Lord’s strength. I hear the news of the Muslim Brotherhood and I think in my weak mind that they are too strong for anyone to defeat. Please help me to learn of God’s strength and believe as I should. I have talked to God and asked for His forgiveness in my lack of faith, and need to study Him-where do I start?

Hi Sam, We all are seeing the effects of evil in this world. The Muslim brotherhood is coming against everything good and right. However, never let what you see make you believe that they are too strong for God to defeat. He WILL defeat him according to his plan. Everything is working out according to the plan God prepared long before he created this world and us. He saw all of this evil and this rebellion yet he still loved us enough to come and die and pay the price for our redemption. When I read the news and see the evil being done in the name of religion, I simply cry out that “Christ is coming back soon to make all things new!!” That is his promise, Sam. When you doubt, you give credence to a lie from hell. It is bad now. Evil is growing and truth has been thrown to the ground. If you read the whole bible, you will see that it is all in there. We are told that in the last days: “Because of the increase of evil, the hearts of many will grow cold.” My friend, we are in the last days. It may be today or it could be as much as 10 years from now but Christ is on his way. It is my opinion that it will not be longer than that. Christ said we won’t know the day or hour but that we WILL know the time by the signs. The signs are all around us. Keep your eyes on Israel for as Israel goes, so goes the rest of the world. We are in the times that the Prophet speaks about in the book of Daniel. He was given of vision of what the world would look like just before Christ returns.
My friend, if you are a born-again believer of Christ, you have nothing to fear. Your plan is already worked out for good. Christ will first call from the sky for his church. That is the rapture. We will be gone as evil gets even worse than this. Than the tribulation will bring 3 1/2 years of peace and then 3 1/2 years of unspeakable judgment. Those who accept Christ then will suffer much.
I am here for you to talk to. We are facing the darkness of the times but we have the light of Christ. Please open your bible each morning and read at least one chapter a day. God will speak to you through his word. Have you read any of the bible? Do you have a saving relationship with Christ? I am not talking about a religion but rather a relationship and surrendering to Christ alone. I know it is pretty scary as we see all the torture and beheading going on. I cry that so many are being killed just for their faith! In the end, God is still in authority over it all! He knows the plan and he knows how to fulfill it. Don’t look at the devil’s work going on all around this earth. Look at the power of your God who can do ALL things. Nothing is beyond his ability.
Write back and let me know if you understood what I said and ask any questions. We can reason them out through scripture. My opinion doesn’t matter. It is only God’s word that stands the test.
I am praying for you.
Love
Marianne

Marianne,
Thank you for this. I am trying extremely hard to believe what has happened to my life the last two years is ordained. The woman that I thought was my soulmate for 8 years left me for another. I had left a failing marriage for her all those years ago and now I am left with a broken heart, finances in shambles from taking care of “two families”, and now no where to live. The woman still works with me and I am forced to see her every day. My heart still skips a beat when I see or hear her but I know there is never any going back. I read this every day and am trying to believe. I am waiting to see the beautiful place that is there for me. Will I? Thanks, again.

God has always had a perfect plan for man. He also has given us free-will. Those who want to be with Christ will surrender to his will and be joint heirs with him in a Kingdom that will never end. That is about the best plan we can ever receive. Yes God knew we would fall into sin and rebel against him. Aren’t we blessed that he loved us anyway and still wants us with him?

Hi Samwel, I also thank God for bringing you to this site. He gives me the messages to write for those who are struggling. I also learn from theses messages.
We are all going through troubles of all kinds, my friend. It is a difficult time to be in. I know it can make your life so uncertain when you face financial problems. I have been there many times myself. It is not easy when you can’t see how you are going to make it. The truth is that if you belong to Christ, through your struggle He is working out His plan. He has not forgotten you, dear friend. He is there with you even now. Your struggles are bringing you closer to Him and He is showing you more of His power. I do not know what Christ will do to help you in this impossible situation, I just know that it is not impossible to him. I know that by the truth of His word and by what He has done in my life. Please read Psalm 139. I have taken this Psalm to heart and memorized it. King David wrote this when he was feeling uncertain about his struggles also. He understood that the darkness of his trials was not dark to his God. He wrote that God could rescue him even if he were in the depth of the sea. Nothing can destroy a true believer. God has every one of your steps planned. He also has your victory assured.
Keep reading your bible each morning, Samwel. Do not grow weary but give Christ praise each day for what He is about to do in your life. The truth of Christ is your strength. You are fearlessly and wonderfully made. Every cell in your body must obey the will of God! Amazing!
I am praying for you, my friend, and I am here if you want to email me to talk. You are going to get through this crisis and be made stronger for having gone through it. You have been deemed a mighty warrior by God himself, Samwel. Remember that at you take each day and trust God through it. It is God’s strength that is your power. What can defeat you? Finances? Never. You are not alone. We all here will be praying for you.
