I know that God is with you

My friends, my heart is with all of you who are going through a difficult time in your life. In one way or another, we all are suffering trials of every kind. I pray that you will take to heart the message that the love of Christ will never fail you.
Whatever struggle you are facing in your life, let the truth be your guide. There is nothing to stop the purpose for which God created you. You days were numbered and a plan was made for you long before you were born. There is always hope in every battle because the power of God is with you to the end.
When you are feeling overwhelmed and weary, please remember that someone is praying for you. Be blessed and stay in peace. All things are being worked out for your good!

Marianne,
Thank you for this post. It was just the reminder and blessing that I needed today. Sometimes life goes on the crazy train ride and this post serves as a reminder that I am not going through anything that He doesn’t know about and He will guide me safely every step of the way as long as I keep my eyes on Him. God’s love is never ending.
You too are always in my prayers. I am so thankful that the Lord has placed you in my life. You have been a great friend and an amazing blessing. Our ways are not His ways. He is always our strength through the storms.

Dear Truthseeker, It is so wonderful the way God puts people together. I have watched as you continue to have faith and trust God despite the trial that you are experiencing. You are right to say that our ways are not his ways. His ways are so much higher. For that reason alone, we must surrender our will and our ways and let Christ be our guide. I also like the picture. The message was even better. I often forget about God being with me. I have been overwhelmed lately with a new job, family issues, and finances. But I was talking with my wife about how blessed we really are, in spite of all the “troubles” that we have. I need to be reminded of this fact. This post helped me to remember this. Thank you.

Hi Marianne,
As always, a wonderful post. During the hard times, we need a reminder, that we can trust that God is with us! I know it is only God, who is taking me through the ordeal that I am living through, at this time! Since I became ill, had it not been for the Lord who was on my side, I really don’t know what I would do! I praise God, because I know He’ll never leave me, nor forsake me! God’s grace is sufficient for me, and His strength is made perfect in my weakness!

Hi Marianne…beautiful poem! I was concerned that something might be wrong as I read through it twice. I look forward to the post that you pulled away from to minister to us. I recall about nineteen years ago when I was going through a very stressful time in my life that a piece of highway graffiti on an overpass brought me comfort. It read only “TRUST JESUS.”
Just over the past weekend while traveling from Ohio, I was feeling the pressure of the days in which we live and my eyes caught a small white placard placed on a highway overpass. “JESUS STILL LOVES YOU,” it read.
I find those “love letters from Heaven” to be priceless. Sometimes they come in the form of internet posts.

The very fact that he doesn’t annihilate the whole dark, irreverant, God-hating world shows he loves us. Who can understand the mercy of God? Yet somehow in all of this turmoil, he still knows those who are his!

Hi Anil, I will be praying for you. Whatever problems you face, remember that if you belong to Christ, he goes before you in all of them. He will cause all things to be used for your good and to help strengthen you for all that you face. Don’t empower your problems. When you do, you make them bigger than life when ALL things are under the authority of God. He can work out your problems and give you hope. He holds your future in his hands. Hi James, I am so blessed that you stopped by! Yes God is always with us in our troubles and he is strength that we need to get through them. I am sorry to hear that you have cancer of the neck BUT God is more than able to help you no matter what your diagnosis. He has a plan, James, and it is to bring you closer to him. He will see you through this. He doesn’t care what disease you have or what stage it is in. He has authority over it all!! All things bow ot his will and he controls what he allows to happen in your life.
I want you to know that I will be praying for you. I pray for God to give you peace while he heals you. I pray for you to keep your eyes on Christ and never look from him. He seems to be ignoring me on an area I need most help in. I told Him that if He doesn’t answer me by the 28th i am forced to conclude that there is no Him, and will just do drastic stuff to end the pain.
logically, if He does exist, He will answer me by the 28th. If He has already moved and provided what I need and it is something else like the enemy He who said He moved heaven and earth to save me will surely flick the annoying insect standing in the way.
If not. does He exist?
Btw i’ve believe in Him since I was a kid. I’m 20 now so it’s not like I haven’t read the bible or others’ testimonies, etc. The fact that i’m embarrassing myself like this on your blog (sorry) just goes to show how far He’s let me go anyway.

My sister, Dee, I am so sorry for what you are going through. Whatever it is, I can see that it is bringing much pain into your life. My heart is with you.
Please let me reason with you about a few things. First of all, if you state that IF God answers you by the 28th you will believe he exists; otherwise you will conclude that he does not. My friend, you cannot say that you believed in him since you were a kid because you only believed in a God who worked things out your way. That is not faith. Faith trusts that God does what is right and good even when we don’t understand the reason. That is not what you are doing. To be a believer, you must know your God and surrender your will, your way and your heart to Christ and allow him to do as he pleases. You feel that if he does not work as you think he should that he is failing you. Dee, nothing could be further from the truth. You do not see the future nor can you even see tomorrow. Yet God does and He has the plan for all of it. How do you know what is good and right when you can see the next hour much less the time of your end? When you can trust that Christ loves you enough to die for you, you can humble yourself to believe that he will also provide for what you need – even when it is not what you think it should be.
The Apostle Paul was sent by Christ to bring the Good News to the Gentiles yet God allowed him to be beaten, stoned, mocked and imprisoned among other things. Why was that? Paul did not believe that God had failed him. Paul understood that God was with him in his trials and that he was working it all out for his good. He believed that Christ had a purpose and a plan for everything that he had to endure and that there was a divine reason for him to allow it to happen. I am going through a very difficult and emotional time in my life right now. It is easy to feel so alone in my hurt but I choose to instead believe the truth that God is with me always and that his eye seesm my broken heart. I belive the truth that his perfect plan for my life will not fail even when things look bad. I know in my heart that anything he allows for me to go through he has planned a way of victory through it all. So I continue to write of his love and truth. I continue to teach at the prisons in my area and to have bible studies for the lost. My pain will not blind me to the truth of who my God is. I know whom I believe and I trust Christ with all my heart. If you only trust in the good times, you have no true faith.
My sister, you can email me where we can talk privately. I am here to pray for you and to listen and help you through this situation. If you only understood the love that Christ has for you, you would never doubt him ever. I will be lifting you up each day and I hope that you will keep your eyes on Christ alone and trust him no matter how bad it seems right now. Let his power be your strength. I will be here to help. Don’t give up, my sister.

Just wanted to write a few lines…..I see the great power of God working each time I visit this site.I know this is an older post but I still feel moved to comment as I do see many here suffering and some still with doubt keep in mind what our Lord suffered so that we may be free of all the negative things which plague us….we only have to ask Him in faith and he will be with us to help us thru our seemingly impossible obstacles.. Not to very long ago I came back to the Lord after a long time away from Him…and found Him there just waiting to take me back. though I had a really rough last few months with doubt and lack of trust in the Lord. I found that by just believing in Him and trusting Him in faith along with my prayer and reading the Word He finally revealed Himself to me and left me know that by Trust and Faith He will hear you and lift you up. I just wanted to share that with everyone and to let all know that my prayers each night include all who seek comfort and truth in the Lord.
