Love enough to speak the truth!
My dear friends in Christ,
I want to share with you an important message that I feel compelled to put on this site. There is an increase in evil now and many are being deceived as they search for churches that tell them what they want to hear instead of the truth. The enemy has stepped up his forces as he tries to darken the light of the church with trials and troubles to make the saints ineffective in reaching the lost.
We are in the closing days on this earth and Christ is getting ready to receive her bride. But there are people everywhere that do not understand the significance of the time and events that are unfolding. We need to get ourselves ready to meet our Savior. His kingdom is upon us and the message of truth must be reached to the ends of the earth. As time grows short, the darkness will increase in an attempt to take down the church. For that reason, there is an URGENCY TO RISE and take our stand. We were placed by God right here and now for such a time as this!
I implore you to view this link and take to heart the important message that it gives. If you have unsaved family and friends, you need to pray as you bring them the message of salvation though a relationship with Jesus Christ. You must love them enough to risk offending them. Their eternity depends on it!
God is with you as you seek him from your heart. Jesus paid the ultimate price to give all to you. Are you willing to give all to him?
Please view this message with your heart because now is the time to stand!

Marianne,
You are so right. The Church (the body of Christ, not the buildings, as you know) must understand that we are at war. If we proceed like we are in a ballet, or at the mall, or on a picnic, we will be seriously injured, as will those we mentor. Beautiful ballerinas or happy shoppers or picnic-ers are just fine for their environment, but we need to make no mistake–this is war and we are in it, whether we care to be or not.
Thank you for taking seriously and bringing your voice to this call to arms for the body of Christ.
In His Grip,
Shannon Smith

Thanks Shannon for your comments. We do need to proceed as through in a war between good and evil. The spiritual battle is getting stronger and we must be prepared.

What a timely message today. I’ve found resistance when speaking to family and friends about my faith but with God’s help, I will press on more than ever this year. Thank you for this post and God bless 🙂

Hi Joe, thanks for stopping by. We all are met with resistance when we talk about Christ to unbelieves, but I am so glad that you are not stopping and will press on more than ever. The enemy wants us to stop, but never let him win that battle. At least when you meet your Savior one day you can say from your heart that you fought the good fight!

There is so much truth in that statement that Love Warns. Thank you for that post.
I am realizing that the true gospel of Jesus Christ must offend, because persons are often like either the Jews or the Greeks mentioned in 1 Corinth.
“For the Jews ask for a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block, and to the Greeks foolishness.”
(1 Corinthians 1:22-23)
No wonder that Paul knew he would not be a servant of God if he still sought to please men. We also have to be willing to let the truth offend others without being offensive in our own attitudes.

Hi Marianne,
It is imperative to share the gospel, and we all seem to need reminding of it.
I learned an interesting distinction a little while ago: first from Paris Reidhead in Ten Shekels and a Shirt (If you haven’t heard this message, I can’t recommend it highly enough!) and more recently from Paul Washer in (I think) a message called “The Worthless Prayer Meeting”.
It was this: as the chief end of man is to glorify God, so the chief purpose of declaring the gospel is not to save people from hell, but rather to turn those who ignore or hate Him, to bring them to a place where they give Him the glory He deserves.
As our Lord commanded us to love the Lord your God with all your heart, and love your neighbour as yourself, so the first priority is to want God to have the glory He deserves, and to be obedient to His command to share the gospel. The second priority is love our neighbour.
Isn’t that interesting? I hope I have relayed it in a way that makes sense.
It is great to come here and find you “encouraging each other in good works, even more as we see the day approaching..”

Caribbean, I value your comments because you are a true seeker of the word. It is hard to stand against the flow and to keep standing but that is what we must do. It should not matter the approval of men but only God.
Bless you!

Greetings Beyondblue! Your comments made a good deal of sense. We are to do ALL things for the glory of God. There is no other way. And all that he gives us must also bring him glory because God is pure goodness.
We who seek the truth are being saved for God’s glory. He doesn’t owe us anything but he desires to have fellowship with us and to bring us to heaven to be with him. Who can describe that kind of love?
I also want to check out the Ten Shekels and a Shirt message.
I will be back to your site which is awesome. Thanks for commenting. 🙂

Yes Marianne- AMEN to Jeremy’s comments above. You have a gift from the Lord to put your heart to words, but it is His word that is written in the fleshly tables of your heart. Therefore it is truth and power which you are sharing with all of the WordPress readers.
Thanks for your commitment and stand upon His unadulterated word of truth.
God’s blessing as you serve Him.
Peace malachi

Good words Marianne! You know, one of the first thing the Lord revealed to me when He opened my eyes was how far away the church was from Him. If the church is worshiping another God, a God of her own desires instead of the God of the bible, that is idolatry. How many times have I shed tears over that very fact. Keep praying and proclaiming Marianne!

You are so right Mike, we need to get back to worshipping God in TRUTH and Spirit. Anything that deviates from that is idolatry. I also am saddened as I watch so-called Christian churches leave out the full message of the cross in order to attract peopl who just want to feel good.
Bless you Mike and thanks for stopping by. I am at your site every day as you write from the wisdom given from God!

Thank you, Aaron. I appreciate you visiting. You are so right. This message is ignored way too much. People worry about offending or upsetting an unsaved loved one. I can’t imagine caring more about their feelings than about where they will spend eternity!!
God bless you.
